On the 30th July 2008 TransformersAnimated.com in association with Transformers At The Moon discovered a series of previously un-announced Transformers Animated figures on the Wal*Mart website. One of this listings was for a Ramjet figure. In late September the same year, stock images were released by Hasbro for a Transformers Animated Activator Dirge figure. Shortly after, the Wal*Mart website was updated to include an image of the Dirge toy against the Ramjet listing, showing that the figure was actually going to be called Dirge and that Ramjet was simply a placeholder.
